Settle in at your own pace, letting the calming rhythm of the valley soothe your spirit. In the evening, join us for an engaging orientation session, where we'll unveil the thrilling escapades that await. The day concludes with a delightful dinner, as stories and laughter echo around a cozy bonfire under the starry sky.

Rise and shine for a 12km trail run, a perfect introduction to the exhilarating world of trail running. While runners explore the trails, family members and guests can savor a leisurely breakfast and immerse themselves in the serene beauty of Tons Valley, perhaps trying out mountain biking or hiking nearby trails. After reuniting post-run, enjoy a serene afternoon, with options to swim in the Lunagad pool or experience the thrill of cliff jumping. As evening descends, gather around the bonfire for a night of shared stories and a starlit dinner.

Embrace another glorious morning at Camp Bagi. Our runners will tackle a challenging 16km trail, while others can indulge in a relaxed breakfast and leisure activities. Post-run, everyone comes together for a hearty brunch, sharing tales of the morning's adventures. Rise early for a 16km trail run that promises to be both challenging and rewarding. Running alongside the pristine Tons river, you'll encounter a mix of technical sections and single-track trails. It's an opportunity to immerse yourself in the true essence of trail running, crossing quaint villages and passing by traditional Gujjar huts. Run 3: Test Your Endurance

Distance: 20km+ | Ascent: 800m | Descent: 800m
Difficulty: 3/5

Gear up for the most exhilarating run of the camp. This 20km+ trail challenges you with a steady ascent to a charming mountain village, offering breathtaking views and a true test of your endurance. The climb is a journey in itself, revealing the diverse beauty of the Tons Valley with every step.

At the halfway point, a serene waterfall provides a moment of respite. Here, amidst the soothing sounds of nature, you can soak in the scenery and prepare for the thrilling descent. The downhill run is a liberating experience, where you'll feel a sense of freedom and achievement.

Concluding the run, return to the camp for a well-deserved rest. This day is not just about the distance covered but about the personal milestones reached and the deeper connection with nature you've forged.

- Transportation: Travel to and from the camp is not included which allows flexibility to the participants to plan based on their convenience.

FITNESS REQUIREMENT

Due to the technical nature of the trails and the large distances that will be covered over the weekend, we recommend individuals to have certain minimum fitness requirements. In case you don’t meet some of the criteria below, please call us and we will be able to guide you better on how to prepare for the camp before your arrival.

Please feel free to get in touch to avail All In Running training services in order to prepare for the camp or to help you achieve long-term fitness levels.

Recommended fitness levels for camp participants:

  • Average weekly running mileage of over 20 kms over the past 4-6 weeks
  • Comfortable running 12-16 km distance, consecutively for 2-3 days.
  • May have completed multi-day hiking / mountaineering expeditions
  • May have good cardiovascular endurance that can be sustained over 4 hours
  • Should have strong core and lower body (core and leg strength)

Trail running is a dynamic departure from the predictability of road running. Unlike the smooth surfaces of tar, concrete, or cobblestone paths, trail running immerses you in constantly varying terrains. To ensure optimal preparedness and to minimise risks, a comprehensive gear check will be conducted before the first trail run.

TRAVEL

Camp Bagi lies in the pristine Tons Valley, 2 km from Mori village in a quaint region in the western part of Uttarakhand. Just 145 km from Mussoorie and Shimla, it is well connected by road. There are multiple commuting options - by road, air and rail - to reach the camp.

By Road  
Participants, along with their friends and families, are encouraged to either drive independently or opt for taxi services. Below, you'll find some helpful information to assist in organising your road trip.

- Delhi to Camp Bagi - 410km, 9-10hrs of driving time, Apx. cab rates INR 8,000 - 10,000

- Dehradun to Camp Bagi - 190km, 5-6hrs of driving time, Apx. cab rates INR 4,000 - 6,000

Note: 
- Taxi fares may vary based on the selected vehicle for travel. Additional per-kilometre charges may apply, and the rates will differ depending on the chosen car. 
- Driver accommodation is not included at the camp. Eating facilities can be found in Mori, located 2.5 kms away from the camp. 

TRAVEL

By Air:
Nearest airport is Jolly Grant Airport near Dehradun. The campsite is about six hours away.
If requested, you can avail transport facilities to and from the airport at an additional cost. Pricing of pick-up and drop off will vary based on your preference. If you are open to sharing the vehicle with other guests of Camp Bagi, the vehicle costs can be shared.

By Rail
Nearest railway station is Haridwar, which is well connected to several cities in the north. The train station is a seven hour drive to the campsite.
If requested, you can avail transport facilities to and from the train station at an additional cost. Pricing of pick-up and drop off will vary based on your preference. If you are open to sharing the vehicle with other guests of Camp Bagi, the vehicle costs can be shared.

The camp is open to participants of varying ages. Some activities may have age restrictions however our team will provide the details and instructions based on the safety guidelines at the time of registration.
